    About the Ebook

The Last Dragon is set in the Acacia Valley and Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in the years between 1922 and 1940.

The story is told throughn the young and vulnerable Lucy Trentham who likes nothing better than to stand on the bluff at sunset and watch the Acacia Valley wash rich and red with the glow of the setting sun. Lucy has a simple uncomplicated life and plans for her future until her sister gives birth to an illegitimate baby; and, Lucy is raped by a man she once trusted.

A scandalous court case involving care and control of her sister's baby; false alegations of incest against her father; and, public knowledge of Lucy's rape and the identity of the rapist tears the small town of Acacia apart, setting friend against friend and neighbour against neighbour.

Forced to leave the Acacia Valley for her own safety and the safety of her sister's baby Lucy starts a new life in Melbourne but it seems it is her destiny that her life will never follow her plans.

Lucy is in love with a man who is in love with her but married to another woman; she is married to a man she likes but can never really love as she is hunted and haunted by the rapist seeking revenge.

Lucy's story is a powerful portrayal of love, loyalty, courage and determination as she strives to slay 'The Last Dragon'.
