    About the Book

    Edit

The Emerald Tablet is at the Royal Ontario Museum being studied. The display case has finally arrived and secured in place in the Exhibition Hall. The veiling cloth covers the ROM’s new prize exhibit. The caterers are putting the final touches on a sumptuous meal. The guests have all arrived. Randolph Carver and his entourage have made their grand entrance. The media is standing by. All is ready for the grand unveiling.
With everyone looking on in excited anticipation, Carver pulls the cloth off the display case. The room falls silent—just before it erupts into a fury of chaos! The Emerald Tablet is GONE!
The notorious collector turned benefactor is shaking with anger. After all they have gone through to bring the Emerald Tablet to the world—it has been stolen! All eyes are on him. He knows what they’re thinking.
Within minutes, SWAT charges into the building, creating more chaos in their wake. Inspector Swift marches into the Rotunda, announcing himself loudly, with two Detective Constables hot on his heals. It is up to him to make order of the chaos, and find the Emerald Tablet. With Carver in the mix, he already has his prime suspect. But there will be surprises for him this night, and in the days ahead.
There will be surprises indeed—for all those involved in this baffling theft!

    Ben Charron
    Moose Jaw, SK Canada

Ben Charron has lived what some might call a strange and varied life. He has had the opportunity to observe and interact with many cultures having lived in several places across Canada and in Germany and through his travels in the United States, Mexico, Ireland, Western Europe and Southern Africa. In the process, he has lost his heart, more than once. As a poet, he has written hundreds of poems. As a photographer, he is interested in just about any subject and enjoys creating art from his photographs--which are art in themselves. Combining his love of writing and photography, he has produced several books: some are personal, family-oriented photo books and some for public consumption.
