About the Book
It is as simple as that.
Moreover it is street photography. That does not imply that all photos are from the "street" per se, the ambition is rather that the content comply with the following four criteras. The scene is from an environmant created by man. It could be an urban street, but also from a park, a detached area, a museum or why not a beach. You can find man or traces of man in the picture. It could be a person, but it does not have to be. It can be anyting from a dog, to a bike or a glass of coke. Each picture stands for itself. It does not have to be part of a collection or group of pictures to communicate. And finally it is a snapshot of something ongoing, it is a preserved moment.
To spice things up each of these moments has been labeled with a title, a title that is not necessarily a documentary description but a pun. A pun of the captured moment, of what is in the picture.
Thus, this book has no documentary ambition. Therefore it is not important where and when the photographs have been shot.
The photos are published on Instagram which during 2017 have had a 100 photo limit.

About the Creator
I picked up my father’s old Yashica in the 1970s and have been fascinated by photography ever since. Over the years I’ve carried different cameras with me—first a Nikon F-301 SLR, and today a Sony A7R2 and Panasonic Lumix GX9—but what matters most is not the gear, it’s the moments I try to capture. Street photography is where my heart lies. I love those fleeting, candid moments that say something about life, sometimes with a subtle touch of humor. Many of my photos come with a title—often playful, sometimes ironic, but always respectful of the people and places I photograph. I live in Nybro, Sweden, and share my work on Instagram at @photos.by.yocce and @streets.by.yocce. “Yocce” is a twist on my Swedish nickname “Jocke,” which is short for Joachim. For me, photography is about storytelling—finding beauty, humor, or meaning in everyday scenes. I hope my images make you pause, smile, and perhaps see the world a little differently.
