About the Book
Learn Photoshop the right way—with purpose, clarity, and repeatability.
Originally published in 2008, Forensic Photoshop remains a trusted resource for anyone seeking to master image clarification through a structured, repeatable workflow. While Photoshop itself has evolved significantly since the CS2 era, the principles and approach outlined in this book remain just as relevant today. This isn’t a book about features—it’s a book about process.
Designed for users at any skill level, Forensic Photoshop guides you through a logical sequence of steps to clarify, balance, and enhance your images while preserving their original content and forensic integrity. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your techniques, this book offers a foundation for consistent, defensible image work.
More than a collection of tips or tricks, Forensic Photoshop teaches you how to understand what needs to be done, how best to achieve it, and why the method matters—regardless of which version of Photoshop you use.
The tools may change. The workflow endures.
