2021 can’t get here soon enough. This past year has been challenging. From a global pandemic to the global injustices against people of color, 2020 definitely ripped the scab off of the ugliness of the world. Eyes were opened, yet most still refused to see, but we at SSTYLE still hold faith in better days. We feel the beauty of us as a people will shine brighter and bring about change for the betterment of all through our strength. Speaking of beauty and strength, this the last issue of 2020 shares both characteristics starting with our Cover Model, Tianna. This newcomer is just one example of how our young people are out to make difference through their talents and ambitions. We had the honor of sharing some holiday cheer through stories of good people doing good things in our Community Wellness section and we sat down with a talented young man, Shawn Simon, who is not afraid to embrace his growth and point of view.
