Ralph H. Sidway has been practicing landscape photography since the 1970s, working in both 35mm and medium format, and expanding into large format in 1990. His gelatin-silver prints have won awards at galleries and juried exhibits across Kentucky and Southern Indiana, and from the Southeast to the Midwest. An avid freelancer, Ralph's work has also included architecture and the performing arts. Several of his images were included in the coffee table book, Louisville, A River Serenade (Tower Publishing, 1996; Dan Dry, Photo Editor), and he created a memorable series of cover photos for Louisville Music News from 1995 to 2001, winning a grant from the Ky Arts Council in the process.  In the 2000s, Ralph returned to landscape photography, creating a compelling body of new images using the digital medium. 'Pursuing The Light' (2014), presents Ralph Sidway's work in landscape photography over four decades (Second, Revised Edition, 2026).
