I'm not a photographer, I seek not to create beautiful images. Rather, I'm a noticer, an observer, and I seek to remember the world that I so easily forget. To me, making photos is not about creating an image that is beautiful, it is living life by observing the natural and small beauty in daily human life. While most others walk by without noticing, I choose to see every beautiful moment, every smile and laugh. I see every person I walk by as a beautiful gift, and each time I see that beauty I find joy. And with my camera, I want to remember those moments for myself. To be able to see my collection and not just have a beautiful gallery, but as a testament to myself saying, look where you have gone, what you have done and who you have seen. My photos are not created with the expectation of the photos' beauty, rather they are created with the understanding that what I have seen in real life is beautiful and worth remembering, and every so often, I'm given the gift of a beautiful photo.
