Chris Harris is a professional photo-journalist and narrative photographer.

Since leaving a career of wilderness guiding, pioneering outdoor adventure tourism, teaching, and educating youth in the outdoors both in the school system and working with youth at risk, Chris has been one of this country’s foremost and most respected photographers. He dedicates his photography to bringing awareness and reverence to the value of nature, biodiversity, and the beauty of his home region of British Columbia, the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast.

On October 22, 2016, Chris released his 13th book, British Columbia’s Cariboo Chilcotin Coast, A Photographers Journey. With this publication Chris reveals for the first time the unique and globally significant Chilcotin Ark; the largest, contiguous, and most diverse wilderness complex in the temperate world.
