Tony Roman is a photographer and author whose work explores landscapes, architecture, travel, street photography, vintage cameras, and the beauty of ordinary objects.

Working primarily in black and white, he uses both traditional film cameras and digital equipment to capture the interplay of light, shadow, texture, and form.

His BLACK & LIGHT photobook collection began as a way to preserve decades of photography in beautifully printed books. The series now includes ten published editions, from the original Standard and Special Editions through Volumes I–VIII, covering subjects from Lancaster County and vintage cameras to international travel and abstract photography.
