About
My photography avocation began in the 1950s, learning darkroom skills from a professional photographer. I was able to hone those skills in later years, progressing from film to digital imaging. My consulting work and a second teaching career required extensive travel and afforded me many photographic opportunities.
I came to favor so-called “street photography”, because I believe that unposed images of people best reflect the essence of a place, not landscapes, buildings, or monuments. Leica cameras have been my tools for many years because their compactness and reliably high quality is well suited to that style.
