Deb Dorsett Hanson is a retired environmental educator, writer, and artist living in North Carolina with her husband and two cats, Bonnie and Clyde. She spends her spare time growing native plants, nurturing the wild beings on her three-acre homestead, and volunteering with the Haw River Assembly.
