    Mooresville, NC

    Mrs. Caruthers, formerly Bertha Jo Terry, now going by Terry Caruthers, was born and raised in Monterey, Virginia. She is the daughter of "Benny" and Mabel Terry, both of whom she has written books honoring . Mrs. Caruthers holds a BS in Math from the University of Mary Washington and an MBA from Keller University. She is retired from Northrop Grumman where she performed in roles as IT Manager, Director of Training, and Orals Coach. She now owns her own consulting firm, Caruthers, Coaching and Consulting and resides on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC where she enjoys her grandchildren. Her sister, Donna Terry Bedwell and husband, Michael, are contributors to "Benny Tales." Donna retired to the home place in Monterey after a career in buying, marketing, and event planning. Michael retired after being a high school principal in Spotsylvannia County, Va. Her cousin, Jim E. Hiner, a builder in Richmond, Va. who died in 2018, contributed poems to "Memories of My Mother Mabel."
