    About the Book

    Edit

Will and Jake are brothers, living in a small rural Canadian town in the mid-fifties. Their lives are pretty ordinary until their long time neighbour Bridget introduces them to the sister she never knew she had. Ellie seems to be the catalyst for an adventure that starts with an old hermit and his dog that protect a sentient tree from an evil beyond their comprehension.
Reluctantly drawn into an adventure that takes them to a vast archipelago, the four teenagers discover friends and enemies alike as they travel in search of unique powers that will help thwart the adversary in its bid for freedom and desire for destruction. Along the way they will discover the truth behind ancient mysteries and the most important power of all… that of friendship.
