About the Book
I have traveled all over this country and feel strongly attracted to the American West. This part of our country is not flamboyant, nor is it pretentious. The land is bold and speaks to me clearly of years long ago. The people are direct, close to the vest, yet warm and friendly. They are a people that count on each other in times of need, despite the often vast distance between homes. A barn burns down – they all gather to rebuild it. If weather endangers the harvest – they all gather to help.
The American West has magic and a spirit I try to capture in my photography (97 photographs).

Photography, as a form of design, captures and communicates creative concepts. Timothy Princehorn, with his unique journey from art director to creative director and finally to photographer, has mastered the art of evoking profound emotions through his images. His stories offer insight into what initially caught his interest from his perspective. His work transcends the boundaries of space and time, which he hopes will profoundly influence the viewer. This book is a testament to the diverse range of photos in his Signature Series, which captures moments from Tennessee to Thailand and places in between. — 'People. Places. Perspective. Prose.'
