Our journey round Iceland presented a barrage of stunning views and experiences. There were so many dramatic mountains, fjords, rivers and waterfalls. We travelled on gravel roads to see ice sheets and glaciers, seeing so much northern wildlife on the way. This trip covered 3000 kms bringing us close to the realities of life in this isolated northern land.
