    About the Book

    Edit

Herbin is a distant planet located in the silky way galaxy. On this planet, there are plant-like inhabitants called stemlings and femlings. Stemlings are the male organisms on herbin like Lucky, Bently, and Buddy that grow into twiglings and then branchlings once they're far more older. Femlings are the female organisms that have flower buds on top of their heads instead of stems or twigs. Once they become older, the flower slowly blooms.

Roy Furbottom is the main antagonist of the series. Throughout the journey of Lucky and the gang, he tries to steal Herbin Central's main source of power and use it to fuel his terrifying contraptions.
Each episode chronologically shows the journey of three young men or in this case, stemlings named Lucky, Bently, and Buddy. These three stumble upon a massive city in need of their help as they grow up. Without question, the three bravely do whatever it takes to defend their new home from being overtaken by the corrupted Roy Furbottom. In this heartwarming action comedy, I hope the readers enjoy every aspect of the series. Most importantly, I hope it greatly impacts the lives of readers young and old and brings smiles to many.

My Hometown is back in Meadville PA. A sucker for a good joke here and there, I fondly remember always waiting for the Sunday paper to come so I could dive into a vast selection of great comics. I'm 19 years old but I started writing The Wind Up around 2004, originally just planned to be a fictional novel at the time. After the years went by I began to revise the story and rename characters but I felt like the sense of visual pleasure was missing. I used to never find interest in illustration whatsoever but I figured that this was a type of language that I needed to learn other than just writing. This bilingual expression of words and images fueled my interest in comic making leading to why I chose my major in fine arts.
