    About the Book

    Edit

I wrote this little book to share my experience of how fate brought these baby orphaned raccoons to my garden. How it changed my perception of raccoons, from all the things people have told me, about how destructive and vicious they are to how clever and cute they really are. Keeping in mind that they are wild
animals and must be kept at a distance so as not to make them too trusting so
they stay their distance from people. It would help them to avoid coming to built-up areas so they will be safe from dogs and people that give them a bad wrap.
All wild animals will venture near places that leave garbage cans open and food left outside. We can all try and do our bit to help keep our wild little creatures safe and in the wild. A great little book to teach children early in life so they can become responsible adults with respect for all Gods creatures.

    Laura McGregor
    Moncton, N.B. Ca.

Laura McGregor a writer/amateur photographer living in Moncton, NB, Canada. Married and has a wee Cockapoo called Winnie. Her family all grown up now with children of their own so it affords her time to devote to her passion photography and writing. Her grandchildren are very dear to her and have played a part in her writings. I hope you like her book called: Algonquin Park "Remembering A Small Lumber Town Called Kiosk". I would also recommend "Autumn Treasures" her first book of poetry and a focus which helped her to arrive at a good place in her life with a full recovery. Check out her latest books, there is something of interest for all ages. Autumn Treasures,( Landscapes, Birds, Wildlife, Flowers, Poems & Covid 19 ) was written to help people to discover ways to deal with Covid 19. From her own experience, she found ways to do that and wanted to pass on her positive experience.
