    About the Book

    Edit

Art book featuring nine original paintings and reflections based on a collection of letters from 1898-1902. Penned while in the Russian army my eighteen year old grandfather wrote to his beloved in a shtetl in Belarus. These precious and gentle letters follow their travels from Russia to America.

These letters inspired a series of paintings.

This show and book pays homage to all immigrants who leave their country in the hope of a better life for future generations.
