    About the Book

    Edit

In March 2009, we took a nineteen day trip to Southern Africa. The trip was a photographer’s paradise, and it was necessary to produce two books on this trip in order to fully capture the whole experience. The first book covered the trip from Johannesburg, to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Chobe National Park in Botswana, and Kruger National Park in South Africa. This second book takes in the trip along the Garden Route and to the Cape Town area. The Garden Route is a popular and scenic stretch of the south-eastern coast of South Africa. It stretches from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to the Storms River mouth in the east. The name comes from the shrubbery near the coast. It includes towns such as Mossel Bay, George, Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Plettenberg Bay and Nature's Valley.
