I have been a locomotive engineer for L&N and now known as CSXT for 37 years and been with the railroad for a total of 39 plus years. It was a great pleasure to be the engineer on the work train that help rebuilt the tracks between Bay St Louis and New Orleans after Katrina. The damage was unbelievable and very costly. We were told that it would be 9 months to a year before the railroad would reopen. But with the great crew of R J Corman and our work train, work was completed ahead of schedule and the RR was back and running to Mobile in February 2006.
