Absurd...is a collection of images highlighting the oddities and humorous observations in everyday life that mostly go unnoticed.

At first sight most of these images will make the viewer smile... which is the most natural response, at second glance some of them harbour more serious issues... but it's still easier to smile!



The general populous have a blinkered indifference to their surroundings, a kind of apathy generated by what they consider normal. They are oblivious to what might be described, by the casual visitor, as 'humorous' or 'strange'. Even when something catches their imagination, the skill needed to 'see' and capture that 'exact moment', that which makes a picture unique, is lacking.... in an instant the picture has gone.



This body of work is a collection of 'seeings' that weren't missed, and due to a never ending supply of new material, this will always be.... an unfinished project.
