    About the Book

    Edit

Dialecticians is an exhibition of work by artist who do not use 'off the shelf', or commercially produced clay bodies for their individual expression. A dialectical method of reasoning has led each artist to research and develop very specific clay bodies used in their every day studio practice. Working in vessel and sculptural formats, and using materials like Egyptian paste, bentonite/birdseed, low-fire porcelain, pulp-porcelain, and hand-dug Anagama fired stoneware, these artists are pushing the limits in the field of ceramics.
