About the Book
Deafness is an invisible disability and is often mistaken for rudeness or aloofness.
It was only when I became profoundly deaf myself
that I experienced the isolation and exclusion.
I am fortunate enough to be an artist and art therapist. I live in a hearing world and have become a lip-reader.
