Over the New year of 2008-09, we travelled to Derwent Water, in the Lake District. The week was spent in the Lodore Falls hotel, an ideal location for walking. When the temperature drops to around -10 degrees, all the surrounding areas are covered in a deep frost and parts of the lake freezes. This book illustrates some of the wonderful sights in the beautiful area. including New Years Day sunrise from the top of Cat Bells, overlooking the whole of the lake and the surrounding areas.
