My goal in creating this book is to give you a glimpse into Scatman Crothers' career as an entertainer and an opportunity to see him in character as he appeared in various movies and television shows. His unsung career and nightclub appearances coincided with the development of modern jazz. He worked with many of the greats and broke ground in every medium without becoming a household name.
