Virginia Stephens-Tennis-Eager, daughter of John Leslie and Audrey Ruth Stephens, was born January 31, 1924, near Perry, IL. The mother of 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, Mrs. Eager currently lives at Good Samaritan Home, in Quincy, IL, and enjoys visiting with friends and family. Her memoir, along with the accompanying journal, records an expansive life, from earliest childhood memories of rural living to the year of 2008, and represents a major accomplishment that family will cherish.
