A fascinating four year project of documenting discarded dolls in the U.S., Europe and South America. Never manipulating their poses or level of neglect, the photographer sought to convey a "lifeworld" experienced by the doll both while in the hands of children who imbue the obects with magical powers and after, released into the world as symbols of our lost innocence.
