    About the Book

    Edit

The Internet can be a dangerous place for a child. Aurora in Cyberworld was created to help parents/grandparents/guardians start and conduct the conversation about those dangers, and the steps that have been taken to protect them, with the child in their lives. The key word is start.

Because each child is unique, this isn’t a ‘one message fits all’ type of discussion. Aurora in Cyberworld introduces each of the major issues associated with a child’s use of the Internet while leaving the amount of detail that’s disclosed up to the parents.

If that’s all we did, Aurora in Cyberworld would be well worth a read, but we didn’t stop there. Aurora in Cyberworld, together with its web site of the same name, provides access to a wealth of information concerning each topic addressed in the book so the parent can decide what and how to best communicate it.

Get your copy today so you’ll be ready when your child comes to you and asks, “Can I use the Internet today?”

    Michael Smith
Fountain Hills, Arizona, United States of America

Mike believes life is a mystery waiting to be engaged by living it fully whenever possible and by reading books with a fresh point of view to fill in the voids. Since selling a successful software development and marketing business, he has divided his time between writing riveting stories and designing and coding two innovative software products—one to help authors edit more effectively and another to teach readers to scan text faster with better retention. He patterned his fictional writing style after his favorite authors. From one he learned to make his stories unique throughout. From another, he learned to treat readers as equal partners in the story collaboration process by showing rather than telling them what is taking place so they can use their imaginations to base their opinion on their own life experiences rather than accepting Mike’s personal views. Best of all, they will enjoy what he learned from Poe when he was twelve. Readers will never know for sure what is coming.
