    About the Book

    Edit

Born in 1919, Charlie was a child of the Great Depression, a member of that generation which Tom Brokaw called the "greatest." Early on he was simply interested in survival, but about half-way through his life he claimed a relationship with God and was changed forever. If his life had been reduced to a one-word epitaph on his headstone, it would have simply been: "Preacher."
