I have always loved animals and after putting down my black lab that I had for eleven years, I took almost five years to recover. I found myself unable to truly enjoy life without a pet. After researching dogs and cats extensively, I found the Ragdoll cat breed. They are big, beautiful, dog-like cats with blue eyes that are true in their traits and consistent in breeding qualities. Caesar and his little brother Julius (next book) have been the most amazing pets. My husband Tim and our daughters Emily & Jennifer are convinced they are the best pets we have ever had.
