    About the Book

    Edit

Travel enthusiasts Lloyd and Carol Worthington-Levy share their travels from Prague to Salzburg, including exploration of three UNESCO World Heritage sites. Colorful photographs are accompanied by written notes about the history of these special places. Most of this book was photographed during a Backroads Tour that included the ancient town of Cesky Krumlov, spa town Bad Ischl, and cable cars and cog rails into the Austrian Alps. And don't miss the section about being taught Schihplattler — Austrian slap dancing! Magnificent scenery and architecture, maps to indicate travel route and proximity, and an intimate look at day to day life and customs.
