Art is how Ginger Pennington celebrates the mysteries and miracles of life, offering new ways of viewing the world. Inspired by nature, spirituality, and beauty, she lives and works in New York City. Her training and degrees in Advertising Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Art Education at Virginia Commonwealth University provided a great foundation for design, technique, and ideas; interestingly, her mixed media paintings are mostly self-taught. After additional studies in realism and oil painting techniques, her studio practice is undergoing new transformation as she explores and develops her next body of work to include new stories, techniques, and style experiments. Pennington also freelances as an art consultant and SAG-AFTRA actress, drawing from each experience something inspiring for future paintings.
