This book is primarily for Schwantes family members. It recounts the legend of Winnebago Chief Highknocker in Berlin, Wisconsin, and the honorary title of Chief Highknocker given to my grandfather in the late 40's when his house was built on traditional camp grounds of the famous Chief called Highknocker Village. This story recounts the retrieval of the statue of the Chief back into Schwantes hands.
