El Paso artist Hal Marcus has created a work of art out of his home. Located in historic Sunset Heights it is one of El Paso's most unique houses. Marcus has been working on the house since the early 1970's. The whimsical home is filled with an amazing collection of local art which is displayed throughout the house. In 2012, she published Expressercize: Write Answers – a collection of creative writing exercises she developed in her innovative workshops with diverse populations. From 2007 to 2014, Mónica hosted “State of the Arts” on KTEP, El Paso’s NPR affiliate, and continues to host special features.
