This is the third in a series of FOUR books, which were actually Scrapbbooks that are 60+ years old - The Scrapbooks were submitted as a record of Progress made by City of Lavonia when they entered FOUR Champion Hometown Contests sponsored by Georgia Power Company.



The scrapbooks were in poor shape and while the information and pictures are still readable, it was decided to preserve this history in the format of a Blurb book!



Great pictures of how the city, and its citizens, looked from 1949 - 1953 which are the years covered by the contest.



Great way of preserving history - for all to read and see! Proceeds derived from the sell of this book go to the Lavonia Historic Preservation Commission.
