    About the Book

    Edit

While undergoing 15 months of treatment, including surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, Alyson used her cancer experience to write about themes such as gratitude, relationships, confidence and acceptance. With raw emotion Alyson candidly shares dark moments of her journey and speaks frankly about the fear and sadness cancer has brought into her young life. Believing that everything happens for a reason, she knows there is purpose in every challenge she will face living with incurable cancer. With unwavering optimism she looks through her hardships and her blogs articulate how she finds joy in even the most challenging of journeys. Full of stories, photos and lessons, Blogs for the Brain is an inspirational sampling of one woman’s mission to turn devastating tragedy into a life’s greatest opportunity.
