    About the Book

    Edit

Photojournalist John Andrulis has spent the last year photographing the Jersey Shore during the winter and summer months. This book beautifully captures the most unique, historic and fun shoreline in the United States. See the diversity of towns from the Victorian charm of Cape May with its prolific fishing industry and marshes teeming with waterfowl. Wildwood's boardwalk, amusement piers and sprawling beach are larger than life and visually captivating. Settle into classic Jersey shore scenes in Avalon, Stone Harbor, Sea Isle City and the bucolic small town of Strathmere. Catamaran's on a pristine beach at Margate; a bustling boardwalk, lifeguard boats and the amusement parks make Ocean City the perfect family vacation spot, while Ventnor's towering condos anticipate the entertainment mecca of Atlantic City. Fun in the sun on Long Beach Island along with the beauty of the Harvey Cedar's marina and Barnegat Light's busy inlet and fisherman casting their lines near the lighthouse.
