The Long Beach State women’s basketball team entered the 2009-2010 school year having just missed the Big West tournament the year prior with an 8-21 record. With first-year Jody Wynn at the helm, they surprised everybody, ranking fourth in the final standings, earning a first-round bye in the Big West tournament, and ultimately finishing with a 13-17 record.
