    About the Book

    Edit

Mixing pictures from NASA and the European Space Agency with a poetic text that will delight child and adult alike, this little book will be read again and again. Inspire the explorer within your child, and let your own imagination soar as you share this "primer for little explorers."

Beginning with Sputnik in 1957, the Space Age has enabled nearly 500 human beings to fly beyond Earth's thin atmosphere. The next 50 years will likely see human society establish itself there as well. The generation for whom this book is intended will determine whether that will be a bright moment in human history or not.
