Mary Peddecord is an award-winning photographer with eclectic interests. Her photography immersion began when she mastered darkroom skills in an electron microscopy course at Arizona State University. After earning a BS and MS in Microbiology, she worked as a clinical microbiologist. A trip to Kenya in 2011 stimulated a love of wildlife photography and awareness of the serious threats these animals and our planet confronts. She continues to expand her range of photographic interests and skills and produces memorable works that she shares in contests, exhibits, and on this website wwwvanishingimages.com.
