Heart's Imperfections: Sonnets of the Soul, Volume 2 is a continuation of Volume 1, but this time, it’s different. It’s heavy, not heavy to hold, but heavy with words, feelings, and all the things I’ve been carrying. Over the past year, I’ve poured everything into this book. Every thought, every journal entry, every random idea that popped into my head. Every meltdown, every curse-out, every tiny moment of joy. The tears, the fears, the dreams, and even the goals I’m still chasing, they’re all in here.

Why? Because I’m still trying to figure out life. And honestly? It hasn’t gotten easier. The older I get, the more I realize how messy and unpredictable it all is. But instead of keeping it bottled up, I wrote it down. I turned it into poetry.

This book is UNFILTERED! It’s me processing everything, what I’ve learned, what I’ve lost, what I’m still hoping for. Some poems might make you smile, and others might hit a nerve or feel like they’re pulling at wounds you’ve tried to forget. That’s okay. That’s what it’s meant to do.

If Volume 1 was about cracking the door open, Volume 2 is me letting you walk right in. It’s chaotic, vulnerable, and honest. Life doesn’t come with a guidebook, and I’m not pretending I have all the answers. But what I do have are my words.
