About the Book
Voyager’s Memo: Vibes, Tunes and Zeitgeist of Malaysian Islands is a lo-fi photobook stitched together from raw phone images, music, and memory. Inspired by Southeast Asian pop, shifting cultural moods, and quiet escapism, the book captures Langkawi and Pangkor through fleeting scenes, ambient reflections, and songs that play in the background. First written in 2024 and forgotten in a folder, then rediscovered and finally published in 2025, this project is as much about documenting place as it is about remembering how to pause and feel again.
