About the Creator
About the Author Born in the small city of Goiás, in central Brazil, João Corrêa Neves Junior left his homeland in 2003 at the age of 20 in pursuit of a dream: to be free. What began as a search for personal liberation became a life-changing journey. In the United Kingdom, João not only discovered what freedom truly means, but also found love—meeting his future spouse, Patricia Aue, a German expatriate living in London. Together, they have made the British capital their home, while also living in four different countries and traveling to over 25 others. Along the way, they’ve encountered incredible people and captured unforgettable places around the globe. Through his writing, essays, and photography, João shares a message rooted in freedom, love, reason, and truth. His creative work reflects a deep belief in the transformative power of self-liberation, a guiding verse that inspires much of his work: “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” – John 8:32
