About the Book
The images contained within, feature members of the Bangor University Symphony Orchestra of North Wales as they prepare for two concerts, with a series of rehearsals over the course of three months. The concerts feature well known works from Prokofiev, Wagner, Beethoven, Bernstein and many more famous names of classical music.
Symphony captures the highs and lows of the rehearsal process, the frustration and elation of preparing to perform some of the most well known and studied works of classical and west end music, as well as images from the final performances, as the orchestra takes to the stage.

About the Creator
I have been a keen photographer for twenty years. I have recently taken the plunge, and become a self employed photographer after leaving my job in the motor industry, where I was the Head of Photography and Trade for Sytner North Wales in Llandudno Junction. A Portrait photographer predominantly, I have a love of Engineering and Architecture. I have two books available, an architectural book focussing on bridges and pier's called Cross/Over, and Symphony, which is documentary portraiture, focussing on an orchestra's preparation and performance of some challenging classical pieces of music. I am hoping to set up an exhibition for my images in Symphony in the coming year. I predominantly work in Black and White, using high contrast and Vignette's. While this is my preferred method of photography, it is not exclusive, and I will adapt depending upon the needs of the client or the photograph itself.
