About the Book
Nova Momenta marks a new chapter in my creative journey – one shaped by years of photographic exploration and a deepening relationship with abstraction. I have always been drawn to the expressive freedom and emotional depth in the work of abstract painters.
This series was born not of mastery but of curiosity, and an intuitive dialogue with time, materials, and presence. I turned to the discarded and the forgotten: blank pages torn from old books, faded manuscripts, even legal documents dating back to the 16th century. Their aged textures spoke to me like a first brushstroke – an invitation, a question.
I approached each piece not with technical precision or predetermined intention, but with instinct. Each page felt like a threshold. An unknown waiting to unfold. There is a quiet reverence in working with materials that have already lived many lives – where the paper itself holds memory, and the gestures of painting or drawing become another layer in an ongoing story.
Every moment fleeting, and rich with unseen potential – the singularity of now, the quiet arrival of the next instant.
