About the Book
Egypt has always fascinated me. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve watched documentaries about this mythical country, though I never really thought I’d go there one day. But since we knew we’d be in Istanbul — relatively close, at least compared to Québec — my partner and I decided to treat ourselves to a real vacation. A week in Egypt felt like the perfect choice.
It was a magnificent trip, with a cruise on the Nile serving as our honeymoon — a nice excuse to indulge in a slightly more luxurious getaway. We truly loved the places steeped in history and that feeling of being transported to another time.
