I’m Emily Leadmon, a proud Colorado native, currently living in Dallas, Texas with my precious husband Garrett, and newborn son, Brooks. My journey as an athlete began at the University of Oregon, where I competed in the 100-meter hurdles for four years before finishing my track career at Duke University for one year. Throughout my time as an athlete, I discovered a deep love for cooking nutritious meals that fuel my body and keep me energized. As a new mom, cooking has become a challenge, but I’ve learned to create simple, healthy meals that nourish both my family and myself. I understand the pressures of balancing motherhood with healthy eating, which is why I’ve compiled easy, nourishing recipes to help other moms through this exciting and demanding stage of life. Being a woman of faith, I also find strength and encouragement in God's word. That's why each recipe in my cookbook is paired with a Bible verse to inspire and uplift you through the challenges of motherhood.
