    About the Book

    Edit

In the haunting landscapes of heartbreak, where emotions echo like distant stars, "Lonely Alien" takes readers on an intimate journey through the depths of pain and the heights of self-discovery. This poignant collection of poetry is a raw and honest exploration of one soul's battle with loss, betrayal, and the tumultuous aftermath of a shattered love.

As the author lays bare the fragments of a broken heart, each verse becomes a lifeline, a testament to the strength found in vulnerability. Through the darkness, a resilient spirit emerges, transforming the pain into a catalyst for self-renewal. "Lonely Alien" is not just a collection of verses; it's a beacon of hope for those navigating the desolate terrains of heartache.

The author's words, born from the crucible of personal experience, guide readers through the labyrinth of emotions, offering solace and empowerment. This collection is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, a reminder that even in the loneliest moments, we possess the strength to redefine our worth and reclaim our happiness.

In "Lonely Alien," the author's journey becomes a universal tale, urging readers to prioritize self-love, to cast off the chains of toxic connections, and to embrace the infinite possibilities of a brighter, self-defined future. This book is more than a collection of poetry; it's a testament to the transformative power of healing, and a call to all lonely aliens to find their way back to the constellations within themselves.

I was born and raised in a small town known as Camaguey, Cuba. My family came to the US when I was 9 years old and from then my new life started. While being in the United States, I realized how amazing my life was in comparison with my old life and I felt inspired to see what new possibilities lied ahead. As I grew older and started to have different life experiences, I started having a lot of thoughts wonder through my mind, this is when I began to take interest in writing. It wasn't until my late 20's when I decided to give a try to writing and sharing my poetry with friends, to see what their thoughts were. Getting their feedback was extremely helpful for me, and one day I just simply said, "Fuck it" I'm going to write my first book because life doesn't stop and neither will I. Now, besides writing on my spare time, I work for the government. This is my primary job, but certainly not my dream one. I like everything outdoors tbh, other than huge mosquitos.
