kaSam is a survivor. Neglected in childhood, betrayed in love and reduced to a shadow by two abusive marriages. Yet, the spark is never quite extinguished. Even in dark times the light flickers. Now, as a new phase dawns the creative spirit has a chance to establish itself.

The poems in this first collection span more than three decades. All were written quickly from the heart reflecting the highs and lows of ordinary life and expressing the intensity of emotions in real-time.
