    In the early 1990s, the arrival of the miners in Bucharest, Romania, and their use by the political class, was the beginning of a terrible era, whose echoes can still be felt today.
    Millions of Romanians no longer felt at home and left the country, left to thieves who still run it today, in a terrible mafia system.
    Those were the days when we violently realised that nothing could be done and hoped in vain.
